Reporting

Reporting is a key aspect of any affiliate program, website, or app. Without data on how your product is used, you cannot make strategic decisions about growth. The reporting we provide is unique from that of Google Analytics, Quantcast, LinkShare, TradeDoubler, and DGM Pro as it provides geographically detailed information about about your revenue stream.

Google Analytics and Quantcast can only provide information about your traffic. Detailed stats on your visits and page views is important, however, theyare often poor indicators of click-related metrics. Your click-related metrics are more relevant when affiliate commissions are a significant source of revenue.

LinkShare, TradeDoubler, and DGM Pro only track clicks for the programs they administer so a broader scope is impossible from their reports.

GeoRiot's reporting gives you the means to make educated decisions about how to best maximize your affiliate commissions.

International Traffic Summary

This report explores the daily trending of clicks your site or app receives. It shows clicks versus days, giving you a day-by-day breakdown of clicks your account generated.

Click "View/ Hide Raw Data" to see the raw data per day: the total clicks (from all countries), affiliatable clicks (clicks from countries that have an affiliate program), skimmed clicks (either clicks that were actively or passively skimmed), and skimmed percentage (the percent of the affiliatable clicks skimmed).

International Traffic by Traffic Source by Day

This report shows how each of your traffic sources (app, website, facebook post, campaign, tweet, etc...) are doing in comparison to each other.

Similar to the International Traffic Summary chart, International Traffic By Traffic Source By Day shows the day by day trending of clicks but is broken down by the different accounts you have set up with GeoRiot. While you may not have separate affiliate program accounts for each of your traffic sources, GeoRiot will allow you to distinguish between the sources of clicks.

International Traffic by Country

This report will help you determine which affiliate program(s) you should join next by displaying clicks per country over the selected time range.

While the top 15 countries with an affiliate program are shown in the chart, click "View/ Hide Raw Data" to see a breakdown of all recognized countries from which you have received a click. The Raw Data table has the following columns: country, total clicks from that country, skimmed clicks (either passively or actively), the percentage of skimmed clicks to total clicks, and whether the country has an affiliate program or not.

Commissionable Clicks

This graph provides a visual break down of your potentially commissionable clicks and shows you the value GeoRiot is providing by allowing you to geo-target, translate and encode every affiliate link for every user of your site or app. The "Original" line (in yellow) represents the number of commissionable clicks that your base link supports (where you would be with using one affiliate program's link). The "Current" line (in blue) shows the number of commissionable clicks you are currently supporting by using multiple affiliate programs simultaneously through GeoRiot. The "Potential" line (in red) represents the number of commissionable clicks possible if you are active in every available iTunes Affiliate Program. This is your goal.

Percent Affiliate Click Increase

This report illustrates the percent increase of potential clicks you are receiving by using the GeoRiot service.

Relative to your base country (the country from which you build your links on), this metric gives an estimate of your expected percent increase in clicks when using multiple affiliate programs through the GeoRiot service. This report ignores clicks from countries without an affiliate program and those that are not yet supported by your account.

Improved User Experience

Based off the traffic from your base country, this graph shows the percent increase of traffic being directed to the appropriate store page that matches their location.

A result greater than 0% on this graph means more users encounter a positive user experience and fewer users are receiving errors connecting to iTunes, whether or not they are from a country with an affiliate program.

GeoRiot provides affiliate publishers the tools to maximize commissions from international traffic.
